"We felt that money should go further than just supporting a family and putting a roof over our heads.
There is more that could be done with a little bit of money.
And skills should go further than just earning an income. Skills would be valued much more
if they are used with greater intent than just to create an income.
And so with very limited money and very few skills-- we bonded together
for the purpose of respecting self, culture, and the environment."

In order to fund our various activities, we look for resources to generate income. We sell local and foreign products manufactured by our members, and partner local and foreign suppliers.

***Our most popular products are the hand made capiz* homewares. They come in different colors and designs to suit your own peculiar needs. The products are extra-ordinary and very appealing as home decors. We also make windchimes, macramy bags and other packaging products made of sinamay, and other indigenous raw materials.

_________
Capiz is the outer shell of a marine mollusk, whose scientific name is "placuna placenta" and can be found in the shallow coastal waters of the Philippines. Capiz shells are also known as windowpane oysters. These are being gathered from the muddy, shallow coastal waters and then dried to open the shells and remove the meat inside. Empty shells are soaked in freshwater and then scraped to produce the desired luster."
